Eco-Committee at Richmount
The school eco-club have been very busy over the past weeks creating our new school Wildlife Garden in the grounds with help and advice from Richard Newport, a parent of Hannah in P2. This area will be used not only to attract wildlife to help our school achieve our ‘Green Flag’ status, but as a teaching tool in science to be used by all classes.
Mr Clyde and the eco-team would like to thank Richard for all his help so far in the development of our school grounds.
We have recently elected our eco-school committee for the year. Children from P4-7 nominated a boy and a girl from their year group to represent them in the committee.

The committee also has adult representatives to assist in decision-making and committee meetings which will be held monthly, commencing in January 2012.
